BGG Description: Trekking the National Parks is a spirited family board game that lets players experience the U.S. National Parks in a fun and competitive way.
Up to five players compete in a cross country race to visit the National Parks and collect the most points. Gathering colored trek cards allows players to move across the map and claim valuable park cards. If a player is the first to visit a National Park, they collect that park's colored stone, which award bonus points at the end of the game. Players must jockey for position and make tough tactical decisions at every turn to emerge victorious!
The tournament will consist of two tables with five players each who will play one round. The top five players will play a second round and the winner of the second round will receive a prize.

Nuclear War card game, 4:00pm to 5:30pm-- Hosted by Rick Loomis
This classic "blow up the world" card game has been around since 1965. The idea is to wipe out all the other players, and be the only survivor. But half the time, everyone dies and no one wins. (So we call it an educational game). It's silly, it's random, and somehow, a lot of fun. I'll teach the rules at the start. 6 players per game - if we have more than 6 I'll run multiple games simultaneously. And I will give away prizes.

Lost Worlds 5:30pm to 7:00pm-- Hosted by Rick Loomis
Combat picture book game is a simple combat game for two players. Each player has a book with 32 pictures of his or her character in various combat poses, and a card that lists the 20 or so moves you can make. To fight a duel, you exchange books with your opponent so you each see the other character as you fight. You each select a move at the same time, and the book tells you what page to turn to in order to see the result. Example I might be swinging low and you are swinging high, and you will see a picture of me getting hit in the head by your sword. There are over 80 different characters and each one is slightly different from all the others. I will teach the rules, and then we'll have an elimination tournament and I will give prizes to the winner.
